November 9, 2008: I have to say this was a surprise for me. I really thought the spartans would win this one, but that is why i enjoys sports. The competition has no guarantees.
"This win was made possible by a combination of passion and sacrifices," said York head coach Carmine Isacco, whose team had been considered a top contender all season but came into the national championship as OUA finalist after being upset by Laurier in the Ontario final last Sunday. "I couldn't be more proud of this group of guys."
Carmine, said it better, it was the team that wanted it the most that took home the trophy.

Set your calendars because the big game is this Sunday, November 9, 2008.
We have 3 games tomorow. The first game will be the consolation game between the finals host, Carleton University and Dalhouise. The second match up will be between York and Montreal, followed by Laval and Trinity western.

Dalhousie lost to Carleton 0 -3. This was a consolation for the Ravens who had wanted a chance to fight for the final cup. The battle now remains between York vs Montreal and Laval vs Trinity western.
The montreal/york game kicks off today at 2pm and laval/trinity game is set for 4pm. You can watch both these games on the SSNCanada.ca Network.
