Road to Vanier Cup

And then there were four.  We are left with four teams, competing for the Vanier cup. In the Uteck Bowl we'll see Laval vs. Calgary and for the Mitchell bowl it will be Western vs. Saint Mary's.

The competition kicks off on Saturday, November 16, 2008.  Both CIS semi-finals will be televised on The Score and RDS, with SSN Canada providing the webcast.

Calgary is the new kid on the block and the least favored to win. According to a recent CIS poll, Laval is favored to win the Uteck Bowl by 63% of the audience with a 10 or more points margin.

The Mitchell bowl is a lot more competitive. Western makes its second appearance to the Mitchell bowl after losing to Manitoba last year 52 - 20.
