The break down

Team(s) on a downward spiral:

Windsor (Lancers) - The team has dropped 2 points from 3rd position to 5th position in the Top ten ranking. They lost in a must win game against Laurentian voyagers (which has one of the worst records in the league of 1-6) on the road, which affected their points in the men's top ten rankings.

The big gainers:

Ottawa gee gees went from 8th position to 6th , this week. After back to back wins during week 5. They defeated the former champs (Brock badgers) 61-81 and Guelph 60-67.

Another team that made its debut on the top ten this week, it is none other but the Western Mustangs. Last week they were unranked and this week, they hold the No. 10 position in the CIS rankings with a 4-2 record.

Team(s) to watch for:

Calgary (Dinos) - This week they went from 5th to 4th position in the top ten ranks. Currently they are the # 1 Basketball team in the Canada West central division, with a
9-1 record. The team is nationally ranked # 3 in offense with an average of 86 points per game. Defensively they have managed to hold their opponents to only 66.7 points per game, which makes them the 5th best defensive team in CIS basketball.

Other stats:
# 2 overall in shooting, FG percentage averaging 47.96% per game.

# 3 overall in rebounds, averaging 43 rebounds per game while only allowing their opponents 35.7 rebounds per game.

Tune in next week for another weekly update.
